Small miracles: Bee saved from drowning

miraclebee

Today I saved this bee from drowning in a bucket of water.

I never walk past a water trough or bucket without checking that an insect isn’t drowning in it. Most times I find one in need of rescue.

Today I thought I saw a tiny movement, then nothing. I thought the bee was dead but then it slightly twitched one leg. After I lifted it out on my finger, I placed it on the fence rail where it very slowly revived in the sun.  I’ve never before saved one so exhausted and so near to drowning.  A small miracle for us both.
