Monarch Butterflies





A week ago, on the morning after this year’s Eurovision Song Contest with its theme of butterflies, thirteen monarch butterflies spent most of the morning on the ivy growing over my garden fence.

They later moved to the nearby lavender, finally evoking a past Eurovision winning song from this year’s winning country, Denmark, Fly On The Wings Of Love…
