Dogs on the Backs of Utes 6

underbool

A freezing morning at Underbool in the Victorian Mallee, not long after dawn on 2 July. This Border Collie was not a happy dog, waiting in the cold outside the general store and cafe where its human was having breakfast with his mates.

With that hairy tummy, I couldn’t tell if it’s a dog or a bitch. It growled very softly when I tried to call it over to me, so I left it alone. I know when to take a hint.
