Lagoon Creek…water in the middle reaches

We missed the fresh coming down Kewell Creek last Saturday morning but we saw it come down Lagoon Creek at the end of the day. It’s always great to see the leading edge of water flow down a dry creek. Although Kewell Creek is now running, only the upper and middle reaches of Lagoon Creek have water. But still it is a beautiful thing to see. And it sounds beautiful too.

Please forgive my obsession with water in the creeks. But I’ve lived through drought and there was a time when I thought I’d never see water in these creeks ever again. A little more rain fell today, or yesterday as it is now, only 11 mm, but it’s all good…
